Utah Wedding Photographer | Salt of the Earth Workshop
This post is a looooong time coming. Last April, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a workshop but on my Rebecca Johnson of Nhiya Kaye Photography. I learned so much from her vast stores of knowledge. Seriously. She completely opened my eyes to finding my ideal client, posing, styling, and so much more. And she really is one of the nicest people I've ever met, not to mention insanely talented. At the end, there was an incredible styled shoot. INCREDIBLE. The shoot was planned and designed by Emmily Jones of Gatherist and I literally can not say enough good things about her. Her work was the best I've ever seen - truly inspiring. I want her to style my life. The florals by Rebecca of The Magnolia Flower Company were magnificent and made me want to carry a bridal bouquet around with me 24/7. The backdrop and paper suites were done by the amazing Nikkol Christiansen of Refine Studio at our incredible venue Church and State. The beautiful cake was created by Cassidy Budge of Flour and Flourish (unfortunately, I was having some insanely bad morning sickness - aka all day sickness - and couldn't eat any at the end of the shoot. Everyone said it was incredible though!). The stunning rentals were from Decoration Inc, the runners were by Silk and Willow, and the linens were from La Tavola Fine Linen. Brynn Thomas was the incredible hair and makeup artist for our drop dead gorgeous models, Julie and JP. These two... Seriously amazing models. Not only are they both straight out of a fashion magazine, but they were both so down to earth and so dang nice! Last of all, the stunning dress was from Harlow Brides. Julie ROCKED that dress.
You'll never believe how hard it was to narrow down the photos I took for this blog post. I'm still recovering.
