Utah Wedding Photographer | Natalie + Brendan Wedding Day
Natalie and Brendan's wedding was one big party from start to finish and I loved every second of it! When Natalie first reached out to me to be her wedding photographer, she mentioned that her reception was going to be a Mexican Fiesta - and she definitely pulled it off! We did their Formal Portraits a little before the wedding day - check them out here!
We began their special down down at the Payson Temple where they were completely surrounded by family and friends. And the bridal party dresses.... I seriously wanted one for myself. Between the dresses and the stunning florals by Nannette York, there was color everywhere - it was great!
If I thought there was a lot of color at the Temple, it was nothing compared to how beautifully decorated the reception space was at Highland Gardens. Between the mini piñatas on the tables, the huge assortment of Mexican candies, and the colorful tablecloths and scarves, my eyes couldn't take it all in fast enough. It was so perfect and it fit Natalie and Brendan to a T. They had Cafe Rio cater their dinner, a real Mariachi singer came and serenaded us, and then they danced the night away! Natalie and Brendan did an Anniversary Dance to see which pair of guests had been together the longest - Brendan's parents won! They also did the Vibora de la Mar which was hilarious, scary, and so entertaining!
Of course, I have my own sneaky reasons for this being one of my favorite wedding days I've photographed so far... Because the reception was such a huge event, my incredibly talented husband, Jason, came and second shot for me. It was so awesome having him there!
