Reservation: To book your session with Alissa Paige Photography, complete this reservation document. YOUR DESIRED SERVICE DATES WILL NOT BE RESERVED UNTIL THIS DOCUMENT IS SUBMITTED. REFER TO DEPOSITS SECTION BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PAYMENTS AND WHEN THEY ARE DUE.
CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Deposits & Payment: The full amount due is required at the time of the session. Checks, cash, or payment through Venmo are acceptable. PICTURES WILL NOT BE SENT TO THE CLIENT UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
Cooperation & Communication: Both parties agree to cheerfully cooperate and communicate for the best possible result. Alissa Paige Photography (APP) will fulfill the CLIENT’s communicated requests to the best of their ability. APP promises to do the very best with the conditions and environment they are presented with. Please contact APP with any questions, comments, concerns or ideas as soon as they arise.
Copyrights: Images may not be edited or intentionally cropped in any way by anyone other than APP. These images remain the property of Alissa Paige Photography. The CLIENT has the right to print as many copies as they wish. APP reserves the right to use these images as promotional material as well as to display on website, and other social media pages. APP agrees that these images will not be displayed or used in any way that might shame or embarrass the CLIENT. APP and the CLIENT agree they will obtain permission to use these images in any way that is inconsistent with this agreement. Photos used by CLIENT via social media sites (facebook, instagram etc) should not be edited by style in any way (they may be cropped beyond your control on facebook and instagram) and credit should be given to Alissa Paige Photography.
Limit of Liability: In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the event, APP will make every effort to secure a replacement session date. In the case of a wedding, a back-up photographer (of similar shooting style) will be found (by APP) and paid (by APP). The images will still be edited by APP. If the situation should occur and a suitable date is not found (for a portrait session), responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event. APP takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs. However, in the unlikely event those photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond APP’s control, APP liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the session package. APP and affiliates are not responsible for any damages, injuries or other incidents during or in transportation to and/or from a scheduled session or meeting.
Rescheduling policies & procedures: APP is not responsible if the CLIENT and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions, or for missed images due to poor communication of desired shots to APP. If the CLIENT and/or key individuals fail to appear to a scheduled portrait session or cancels the session with no intention of rescheduling, the retainer fee is non-refundable. If the CLIENT becomes ill or an emergency arises, please contact APP as soon as possible. Rescheduling in such situations is not a problem so long as the CLIENT effectively communicates with APP.
Tardiness: In the event that the CLIENT is late to the appointment set, the CLIENT’s session will still be for the same scheduled ending time.
Weather Policy: In the event that both parties agree in rescheduling due to adverse weather conditions that are out of our control, no extra fees will apply. However, if the CLIENT has been contacted and advised to reschedule due to the photographer’s concerns about weather, and the CLIENT still proceeds with the session, certain circumstances in weather (rain, snow, darkness) will limit the time and or quality of photos that were able to be taken, the CLIENT will be charged for an additional session at the photographer’s hourly rate to shoot additional photos if necessary. It is up to APP’s discretion if bad weather persists to cancel the session before or during the session.
Re-shooting: In the unlikely event that CLIENT is dissatisfied with the final results based solely on personal preference, APP will reshoot at a 50% discount from the original session fee.
Locations: If the CLIENT requests more than one location for the session, the travel time going from destination 1 to destination 2 and so forth does count towards the total amount of the session time. If the CLIENT wants to do a session at a location that charges for access, the CLIENT will be responsible to cover fees associated with shooting there, and all parking fees. They are also responsible for organizing the access and any permits related to doing so.
Processing & Completion: Initial processing takes approximately 2 weeks for portrait sessions depending on APP’s work schedule. If it will exceed that time frame, you will be notified by APP. The CLIENT agrees and understands that the quality of a photography is entirely subjective. APP will will strive to present photos in a workmanlike manner but is not required to cater to specific photoshopping preferences of the CLIENTS such as adding in people, cropping, swapping heads, changing color of clothing, body slimming, "style" of editing, etc. Requests for additional and specific retouching will be considered (but not guaranteed). APP does not do extensive editing (ie heavy liquifying, body reshaping, braces removal, composite shots/head swaps, though light blemishes etc are always removed.) APP is a photographer, not a Photoshopper. The CLIENT will be given the jpeg files but the RAW files will remain the sole property of APP.
